God so desires for us, possibly more than anything, that we be confident and full of joy (Prov 28:1, Rom 14:17, John 15:7-11, 16:22-24). He wants us to know that He’s always backing us and that we can’t escape His favor and blessing. He longs for us to understand this because this is how we live Led by the Spirit of God, which is maturity (Rom 8:14,19) which is how we tap into immortal Life (Rom 8:11, 23).
Because of what Christ has done we always…can. Being ready in season and out for anything is always completely available to us. Everything we set our hand’s to do will prosper. It’s promised. Why complicate it?
The Gospel is a transdimensional ‘Yes!’ The question is not “am I deserving/mature enough for blessing, favor, and prosperity?” No, you are not. He is though and He’s decided to gift to you all He’s deserving of unconditionally. If you can never earn it then there’s nothing you can do or abstain from that will ever have any power to convince Him… of what He’s already made up His mind about. We’re not receiving incremental blessing from God. He’s given everything He got already. The fact that it perhaps hasn’t yet made its way to the material realm doesn’t change the Truth that He’s so absolutely given the fullness so unconditionally.
CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?
When I say that the gospel is a trans-dimensional ‘yes’ I’m simply saying that it is a ‘yes’ that is not bound by time, space, circumstance, our behavior or anything in the created realm (Rom 8:39). The Lamb was slain before the foundations of the world. He has signed the contract to be good to us irrespective of…anything. The question then not “so what can I do or abstain from to manifest this blessing into my situation?” Rather the question is simply “can I believe it?” or is there something encoded on my conscience that’s telling me that I’ve got to, in some form or another, prove my deservedness.
THE RAT RACE OF MIND RENEWAL
Dead works or the law is the only thing that can keep us from manifesting what’s been freely given, but the full provision cleansing of our conscience of these laws of limitation has been given as well. Your brain power cannot cleanse your conscience of dead works. Quit the rat race of mind-renewal that far too many are locked into. It’s just another trap of self-righteous works. Only the Word of God underwritten by His perfectly innocent Blood is capable of such a task (Heb 9:14). He is named the Author and Perfector of faith for good reason. Let Him do His job (He’s much better at it than you are) and receive with MEEKNESS the implanted Word which is able to bring Light to every area of your soul and subsequently transform each area of your life. It’s patience that produces a perfect work.
Manifesting our inheritance and coming into maturity comes not by how well we perform any outward works, but rather by becoming aware of Truth. Most people call this repentance. I prefer the term “Transdimensional repositioning.” Repentance is coming back to the high place. It’s remembering finished works of the Cross; remembering Grace. And even this is a gift. “…It’s the loving-kindness of God that leads men unto repentance.” All we’ve got to worry about is abiding or “resting” in the assurance that He’s taking us forward.
“I am the true vine, and My Father is the Vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it so that it may bear more fruit. You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away as a branch and dries up; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire and they are burned. If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples. Just as the Father has loved Me, I have also loved you; abide in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love; just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. These things I have spoken to you so that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full.. This is My commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you.” John 15:1-12
